Illinois DCFS Recruiting Child Welfare, Protection Professionals in Southern Illinois

MARION – The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is expanding their workforce in southern Illinois.
DCFS recruiters will hold a Career Fair in Marion next week to share information about employment opportunities. It will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Pavilion located on Sioux Drive in Marion.
The department offers mission-driven career opportunities in a variety of positions, including child protection specialists, child welfare specialists and day care licensing representatives. Other in-demand positions include office associates, paralegal assistants, reimbursement officers and public service administrators. Bilingual Spanish-speaking employees are also highly sought after by the department and may be eligible for additional compensation. A bachelor’s and/or master’s level degree is required.
Attendees are encouraged to register by Oct. 18.
