MARION – A severe thunderstorm Wednesday caused minor damage around Skyhawk Road near the Jackson County/Williamson County line.
According to the Williamson County Emergency Management Agency, the National Weather Service has completed surveying the area and indicated the damage is consistent with an EF-1 tornado with wind speeds around 90 mph.
Several trees were blown down, minor structural damage was observed and power was interrupted in several locations as power lines were downed.
