MT. VERNON (WMIX) – The Mt. Vernon City Council will meet tonight for their regularly scheduled meeting and will address multiple agenda items including city banking services.
The council will hear a resolution renewing the line of credit with Banterra Bank to provide overdraft protection for City of Mt. Vernon banking services
Other resolutions the council will consider include one approving designated employees’ authority to purchase through state contracts and another approving an intergovernmental agreement with Marion and Sesser.
The council will also hear results for improvements for 911 Broadway for a downtown greenspace.
These items and others will be addressed tonight at 7 in Council Chambers on the Second Floor of City Hall, located at 1100 Main Street, in Mt. Vernon.
