Rural Carbondale Man Cited for Non-Compliance/Failing to Register as Sex Offender

MARION – A man was recently cited in Williamson County for not being in compliance with the state’s sex offender registry law.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were sent to the 10000 block of Anaheim Road in rural Carbondale at 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12 after getting a Department of Child and Family Services report of a sex offender who was out of registration compliance.

When deputies arrived, they made contact with Leshawn E. Patterson and confirmed he had not registered as a sex offender since October of 2022, and did not have his registration documents on his person.

Patterson was cited for Non-compliance/Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. He was taken to and remanded into the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
