Fundraising Campaign Underway to Reopen Marion, Carbondale Boys and Girls Clubs

CARBONDALE – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Illinois (BGCSI) has launched its Blue Door Reopen Campaign. This fundraising initiative aims to raise $200,000, allowing BGCSI to reopen its doors and resume serving the youth of Carbondale and Marion.

For over 20 years, the BGCSI has served as a cornerstone of the community, providing a safe haven for children. The clubs offer educational programs, positive mentorship, and a space where kids can simply be themselves in a thriving environment.

The campaign kicked off April 18 and will run through May 15. The BGCSI Board of Directors will be reaching out to community members to request their support.
