Johnston City H.S. Taking Donations for Family of Student Killed in Monday Car Crash

JOHNSTON CITY – Johnston City High School is accepting donations to help the family of a student there who was killed in car crash earlier this week.

According to a post on the Johnston City Schools Facebook page, donations for the family of 16-year-old Anastiza Miller will be accepted at the high school and the unit office through Friday.

Donations will go to help the family with funeral expenses.

Miller was the driver of a car that was reported stolen from a Johnston City home. The car was going east on Cochran Road just south of Marion when it left the roadway and struck a tree around 6:40 Monday morning.

Miller was killed at the scene. Three other juvenile passengers were seriously injured.
