MAN WANTED IN TUESDAY NIGHT ARMED ROBBERY, HOME INVASION ON WEST MAIN IN CARBONDALE

CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police are looking for a man involved in an armed robbery and home invasion that involved gunfire that allegedly took place in the 1200 block of West Main Street Tuesday night.

According to police, at 9:20 p.m. officers responded to the area regarding an incident initially reported as disorderly conduct.

The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the room where the victim was staying, displayed a firearm and demanded property. The suspect took property from the victim and fired a single shot, causing damage to property. The suspect left the area northbound on foot.  

During the course of the investigation, officers identified the suspect as 32-year-old Corey M. Williams of Carbondale. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
