WEST FRANKFORT – Dawn Michelle “Shelly” Lay, 56, of West Frankfort, Illinois, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, in her residence.
Shelly was born February 5, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, to Allen and Patricia (Loveridge) Lay. She was a member of First Baptist Church – West Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Shelly is survived by her sons, Kyle (Samantha) Cox and Layton (Madison) Cox; mother, Patricia Lay; brothers, Danny (Debra) Ridgeway and Rocky (Julie) Ridgeway; sisters, Becky (Jerry) Porter and Tammy (Clay) Gerrell; and grandchildren, Margaux and Rutledge.
It was her wish to be cremated.
