Man Arrested in Cambria for Criminal Trespass to Residence, Possessing Fentanyl

CAMBRIA – A man was arrested and cited for Possession of a Controlled Substance – a Class 4 felony – and Criminal Trespass to Residence – a Class A misdemeanor – after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies recently responded to a report of a criminal trespass in the 600 block of West Vermont Street in Cambria.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Lucas L. Holland was taken to and lodged in the Williamson County Jail.

The sheriff office says deputies responded to the scene around 7:50 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25.

The reporting party said they had seen unusual traffic at the home including a white pickup truck and an ATV pulling a trailer which made several trips taking items from the home.

Upon arrival, deputies located an ATV and trailer at a home which had all of its exterior doors in the open position. A perimeter was set around the home and several deputies went inside. That’s where they found Holland lying in the fetal position underneath a kitchen table.

Holland is known to law enforcement as the result of extensive contact. He is currently on parole for Conspiracy to Commit Drug Trafficking out of Williamson County.

Holland was ordered out from under the table and taken into custody without incident.

Holland stated he was “scrapping” and had taken items from the home believing it to be abandoned.

Sheriff’s investigators determined that the 1998 Honda Fourtrax 300 ATV located in the driveway fit the description of a stolen ATV and are continuing to investigate its status.

After being cited and taken to jail, deputies discovered a small bag containing a white powdery substance which Holland had tucked between the seat and back cushion in the back seat of the patrol vehicle. It later field tested positive for the presence of fentanyl.
