Franklin County Sheriff’s Report

BENTON – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office released the following information on Monday, March 4, 2024.

2-27-24 Joseph E. Monteggia, age 55, of Coello was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

2-27-24 Christopher J. Bariteau, age 37, of Zeigler was arrested for possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

2-28-24 Katelyn R. Dial, age 26, of West Frankfort was issued a traffic citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

2-29-24 Denni J. Durbin, age 29, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

2-29-24 Shane D. Mullen, age 59, of West Frankfort was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.

3-1-24 Danielle N. Kalis, age 29, of Zeigler was issued a traffic citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

3-1-24 Stephen R. Irvin, age 59, of West Frankfort was arrested for driving while license suspended and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.

3-2-24 Sammuel L. Edwards, age 37, of Stone Mountain, GA was arrested for aggravated battery.

3-2-24 Chelsea L. Wilcox, age 30, of Mt. Vernon was issued traffic citations for failure to properly secure a child and speeding.

3-3-24 Thomas R. Tennyson, age 35, of Kinmundy, IL was arrested for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

3-3-24 Chares M.D. Welsh, age 28, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

3-4-24 Anthony G. Marino, age 43, of Thompsonville was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

3-4-24 Lyle M. Bulliner, age 31, of Murphysboro was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

3-4-24 Damen L. Costellia, age 26, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

WARRANT ARRESTS

3-1-24 Kendra R. Whitecotton, age 37, of Carterville. Failure to appear for theft.

3-1-24 Dakota T. Miskelley, age 32, of Marion. Failure to appear for driving while license suspended.

3-1-24 Jayson B. Allan, age 29, of Benton. Failure to appear for having a canceled/revoked registration.

The public is reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
