GRAYVILLE – IDOT says beginning Monday, Sept. 11, weather permitting, the westbound I-64 exit and entrance ramps in Grayville will be closed for pavement patching. This will be at Exit 130.
Once work is completed on the westbound ramps, they will open to traffic and the eastbound I-64 exit and entrance ramps will be closed. Ramp closures are expected to last five days.
Additional work in this area is scheduled to begin Wednesday, Sept. 6, weather permitting. The contractor will be patching the pavement on Illinois 1 at the I–64 interchange.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Motorists should reduce speed, be alert to equipment and workers and use extreme caution when traveling through this area.
To avoid any delays, motorists should seek an alternate route.
Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work zone as quickly as possible.
