Man Arrested after Using Dog Leash to Attack Mom, Brother in Blairsville

MARION – A man was recently cited for Domestic Battery after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Blairsville home after getting a report of a domestic disturbance.
According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, this happened around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24.
The sheriff’s office says an investigation determined that Paul W. Reed had pushed and shoved his mother, beat his brother with his fists, whipped his brother with a dog leash, and attached a dog leash to his mother’s waist trying to restrain her. 
 
Deputies cited Reed for Domestic Battery. He was taken and lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
