Known Whiteash Drug House Shut Down Again, Arrests Made

WHITEASH – Seven people have been arrested and cited for multiple offenses following the closure of a drug house in Williamson County.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies carried out a search warrant around 9:15 Thursday morning in the 200 block of Sanders Avenue in Whiteash after learning that individuals had started selling illegal narcotics again from that location after it had been previously shut down by law enforcement.

Deputies searched this location in June of 2024 that resulted in the consolidation of several outstanding drug and weapons cases and the conviction of Joseph E. Wallace. He was sentenced to three years in prison, but was released on parole after serving just 6.5 months. After being released on parole, the sheriff’s office learned that illegal narcotics sales were happening again at the Sanders Avenue location.

Deputies Wednesday intercepted illegal narcotics that had just been purchased at the residence. The buyer was arrested and confirmed continued criminal activity.

Deputies returned to the Sanders Avenue area Thursday and executed a search warrant. They walked into a house trailer and a camper and arrested three people. Meth, a controlled substance, ammunition and drug paraphernalia were recovered.

In a related operation, deputies conducted a traffic stop in Marion where two people were arrested. Meth and a controlled substance were recovered.

As a result of this investigation, the following individuals were arrested and cited:

Joseph E. Wallace – Methamphetamine Conspiracy, Delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of Weapon or Ammunition by Felon or Persons in Custody of DOC, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Ammunition Without FOID, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The Illinois Department of Corrections has issued a warrant revoking Wallace’s parole.

Terri Ditterline – Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Lance Baldwin – Possession of Methamphetamine

Jerri Stritzel – Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Kierston C. Tolbert – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Scott D. Kizior – Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

All individuals were taken to and lodged in Williamson County Jail pending further court proceedings.
