FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS – Two men have been arrested on child pornography charges in Southern Illinois, according to the U.S. Justice Department.
Officials say 38-year-old Zachary R. Jones of Johnston City faces three counts of Distribution of Child Pornography in Williamson County while 43-year-old Nicholas R. Emper of Sea Isle City, NJ, faces one count of Attempted Solicitation of Child Pornography in Williamson County.
These arrests stem from Operation Relentless Justice – a coordinated enforcement effort to identify, track, and arrest child sex predators.
The nationwide crackdown resulted in over 205 child victims being located and the arrests of over 293 child sexual abuse offenders from Dec. 3-17.
