MARION – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of criminal damage to heavy construction equipment in rural Marion.
Deputies responded to the 8900 block of Crenshaw Road just after 7 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, and found a dozer had been moved. It was parked there Saturday afternoon.
An employee located tracks leading toward a strip pit and saw the dozer partially submerged in the water. The dozer appeared to have been driven over the embankment. Deputies searched the dozer and surrounding area out of concern that the suspect may have been injured.
Anyone with information should call the sheriff’s office at 618-997-6541 or “Submit A Tip” on the sheriff’s app.
