Two Arrested as Sheriff’s Deputies Raid Marion Drug Houses

MARION – Two men are being held in the Williamson County Jail for drug-related offenses after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies shut down two Marion drug houses Tuesday night.

According to the sheriff’s office, Ron C. Anderson and Reginald W. Jones were arrested following the conclusion of a comprehensive investigation into a suspected multi-state drug enterprise.

Anderson was cited for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and Criminal Drug Conspiracy – both felonies. Jones was cited for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Ecstasy-MDMA), and Criminal Drug Conspiracy – all felonies – along with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – a misdemeanor.

Deputies executed two court authorized search warrants – one at 6:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Dickinson while the other was done around 6:40 p.m. in the 100 block of North 4th Street.

During the course of the investigation, suspects made multiple sales of cocaine and controlled substances to undercover deputies. Intelligence gathered throughout the investigation allowed deputies to identify the suspected source of the narcotics being shipped into our area. That information has been shared with law enforcement partners, and locations in the St. Louis area are now the focus of additional investigative efforts.
