METROPOLIS – A Metropolis man was arrested on a Massac County warrant and for having a controlled substance in his vehicle that was parked after hours late Saturday night at the Sports Park on Metropolis Street.
According to Metropolis Police, 34-year-old Gregory R. Dinkins was wanted for Failure to Appear for Resisting Arrest. A search revealed a plastic baggie in the console containing 50 pills of suspected fentanyl/MDMA.
Dinkins was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver. He was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
