CARBONDALE – The City of Carbondale’s Chip Seal Program will start Thursday and continue through Friday.
Alleys bounded on the West by Oakland Avenue, the north by West Willow Street, the south by Mill Street and the east by University Avenue will be affected. You should not park in these alleys. Some outlining streets will also be affected. Residents may experience some delays when work is happening in the alleys adjacent to their homes.
If cars remain parked in the affected alleyways, they will be towed away from the work zone.
Once chip seal work is done, you will be able to park in the alley.
