Woman Arrested for Selling Illegal Drugs at Herrin High-Rise

HERRIN – A month-long investigation into the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics from the Herrin high-rise building on North 14th Street has led to an arrest according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

Netta L. Adams was cited for Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Williamson County Jail.

Deputies conducted several controlled purchases of crack cocaine from Adams at her home during the investigation. Deputies carried out a search warrant just after 1 Friday afternoon and found crack cocaine, digital scales and drug packaging materials consistent with the distribution of crack cocaine.

While conducting their search, deputies saw drug house patrons arriving and trying to buy illegal narcotics. Instead of being met by Adams, they were greeted by law enforcement.
