PINCKNEYVILLE – Pinckneyville Police continue to investigate the drowning death of a 35-year-old Bluford man, whose body was pulled from Pinckneyville City Lake Saturday.
According to police, a dive team found Jedidiah Loman in 13 feet of water. Loman drowned after he entered the lake to retrieve a boat that had drifted away after being launched by another man at the boat ramp. Loman drowned while swimming out into open water toward the boat.
An autopsy is pending as part of the ongoing investigation.
