Two Charged after Home Invasion Dispute in Carbondale

CARBONDALE – Two people have been charged after Carbondale Police were called to a possible home invasion Tuesday evening in the 300 block of East Elm Street.

Police responded to the scene at 5:25 p.m. and learned that 31-year-old Laquisha L. Randolph of Carbondale and 20-year-old Dache L. Thomas-Kidd of Carbondale entered the victim’s home during a personal dispute.

While entering the home, Randolph displayed a knife. The victim defended herself which resulted in Thomas-Kidd receiving a minor injury. The Jackson County Ambulance Service responded and treated Thomas-Kidd’s injury.

During the course of the investigation, officers arrested Randolph for Criminal Trespass to Residence and Assault. Randolph was lodged in the Jackson County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Thomas-Kidd was arrested for Criminal Trespass to Residence and released pending a court appearance.
