MARION – You have until Friday to nominate someone for the Centerstone Life;Story Champion Award honoring an Illinoisan who has positively impacted mental health in their community.
Nominees may be educators, advocates, or changemakers who have raised awareness, fought stigma, encouraged others to seek help, or contributed to systemic change through their community, business, or organization.
Winners and finalists will be recognized at the Life;Story 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Ray Fosse Park in Marion. The race starts at 7 a.m., followed by the award ceremony.
