MARION – A short segment of Old Illinois 13 east of the Illinois 148 intersection in Marion closed early Monday morning so the east half of a new roundabout can be built in that area according to IDOT. The closure is expected to last until next Monday.
Illinois 148 and Old Illinois 13 to the west will remain open with temporary signals controlling traffic. Those living in this area will be able to access their homes.
You can expect delays, so use other routes.
