CREAL SPRINGS – Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene of downed power lines and telephone poles in the Creal Springs area.
Illinois Route 166 from Lake of Egypt Road to the Creal Springs Mini Mart and surrounding areas in Creal Springs have been affected by downed electrical poles and utility wires.
This is the result of a semi-truck which deviated from the state route.
These areas are not passable and it is expected to take hours to clear the roadway.
The public is encouraged to seek an alternative route.
