MARION – If you’ve noticed the date 7-14-25 popping up on The HUB’s marquee or floating around on TikTok, here’s your official sleigh bell signal: Christmas in July is almost here. Starting Monday, The HUB Recreation Center is opening registration for all six of its winter events, giving local families and athletes the chance to secure their favorite seasonal traditions months in advance.
“We know that when families can plan ahead, it takes so much pressure off of the holiday season,” said Olivia Morgan, Marketing Coordinator at The HUB. “By opening registration now, we’re hoping to help our community lock in the fun before calendars fill up, creating more space for joy, connection, and tradition.”
The six winter events include something for everyone.
- The HUB Jingle Bell Jog – Saturday, December 6 at 8:00 a.m.
A whimsical 1.5-mile fun run designed for all ages, featuring interactive stations, holiday treats, and festive surprises. Register at https://thehubmarion.clubautomation.com/ - Scuba with Santa – Sunday, December 7 from 2:00–4:00 p.m.
