Man Arrested after Firing Gun at Marion Home

MARION – A Marion man was arrested late Sunday night after he allegedly approached the front door of a home in the 11000 block of Pennsylvania Drive and fired several rounds from a handgun before fleeing to the backyard.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the scene after getting a 911 call about shots fired and found 18-year-old Keivaun T. Mann.

Deputies recovered spent rounds of 9mm ammunition and several of Mann’s duffle bags.

A Marion Police K9 was used to find Mann’s gun. Mann said he tossed the gun into a pond, but a Glock 19 9mm was found in the backyard and confirmed it belonged to him.

Mann was cited for Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Reckless Discharge, Reckless Conduct, Disorderly Conduct, Underage Consumption of Alcohol and Possession of a Firearm without FOID. Mann also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Williamson County for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
