CARTERVILLE – A 69-year-old Herrin Man was pulled from Crab Orchard Lake Friday afternoon after a report came in about a body located in the water according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies with help from Carterville Fire, the Williamson County Coroner’s Office, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service found the man and were able to identify him at 2:50 p.m. His name was not released.
A small aluminum fishing boat belonging to the man was also found floating in the area.
No other details were made available.
