BENTON – An accident with minor injuries happened around 4:40 Sunday afternoon at the I-57 Drag Strip near Benton.
According to the Fire Department Incidents Facebook page, emergency responders arrived and learned the driver ran off the track. The driver was out and walking around following the accident. The driver was treated for his injuries. No one else was injured. The facility stayed open during this time.
