TEXAS CITY – The northbound lanes of U.S. 45 north of Texas City Road in Saline County were closed for a few hours Tuesday morning due to an overturned semi.
According to Illinois State Police, the crash happened around 5:20 a.m. Traffic got back to normal just before 8:30 a.m.
The driver was taken to an area hospital with injuries.
