CARMI – A Crossville man is lodged in the White County Jail on multiple charges after he allegedly broke into an apartment and struck multiple people with a handgun around 9:20 Thursday morning in the 700 block of 3rd Street in Carmi.
Carmi Police say the victims both signed complaints against 26-year-old Jeffrey R. Rawlinson for his actions.
Rawlinson was caught running down Shipley Street. He was arrested and charged with Home Invasion, Aggravated Battery with a Weapon, Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon, Criminal Trespass to a Residence with Persons Present, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resisting Arrest.
