CARBONDALE – An arson investigation is underway in Carbondale.
According to Carbondale Police, officers and city firefighters responded to a fire in the 600 block of East College Street around 7:15 p.m. Thursday. The fire was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported.
Police learned during the investigation that an unknown suspect intentionally set a tent on fire before fleeing the area running westbound on East College Street.
