CARBONDALE – The City of Carbondale Forestry Division is conducting its annual Curbside Christmas Tree Recycling Program now through the end of this month.
Residents who wish to participate in this program should place their tree at the curb and call the Maintenance and Environmental Services Office at 618-457-3275 to schedule a pickup.
Residents wishing to dispose of their own Christmas trees can drop them off at the main gate at the Public Works Complex on North Michaels Street, the east end of the parking lot at Parrish Park on West Sunset Drive or the south parking lot at Attucks Park on North Wall Street.
Please discard pine rope, wreaths, garlands and flocked trees with regular refuse.
