CARMI – A man was arrested following a reported domestic disturbance involving an argument in the 100 block of North Jessup Street in Carmi Saturday afternoon.
According to Carmi Police, officers responded and made contact with 26-year-old Triston M. Phillips of Carmi and the victim.
After police investigated the incident, Phillips was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property and Disorderly Conduct. He was also charged with Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer and Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer.
Phillips was taken to and lodged in the White County Jail.
