HARRISBURG — Southeastern Illinois College is proud to host its first-ever Honor Band and Choral Festival on Thursday, Jan. 15, and is extending a special invitation to area high schools and their talented student musicians.
The festival will bring together exceptional high school instrumentalists and vocalists for a full day of rehearsals, musical growth, collaboration, and performance — culminating in a 6:30 p.m. concert in the SIC Theatre. Each participating school may register up to 15 instrumentalists and 15 vocalists.
“We would love to include the incredible talent from across the region and believe this festival will be a meaningful opportunity for students and directors alike,” said Cory Garmane, SIC Music Coordinator. “We hope every school will consider joining us for this exciting inaugural event.”
Admission to the concert is free, and the public is invited to attend.
