SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our region from 6 tonight until 6 tomorrow morning with the exception of Hardin and Gallatin counties. The advisory will run from 6 tonight until 9 tomorrow morning.
You can expect a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain/freezing drizzle. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Cold ground temperatures may lead to very slick conditions.
Be prepared for roads, and especially bridges and overpasses to become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions.
