MARION – A man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into several homes in Marion and using the victims’ showers and washing machines during the burglaries.

According to Marion Police, officers responded Sunday afternoon to a burglary report in the 700 block of North Logan Street. Moments later, a second burglary was discovered in the 600 block of North Logan Street.
Police got a description of the suspect, identified as 60-year-old Leslie B. Clover, and found him in the 800 block of North Washington Street. He was found with items stolen from the burglaries and taken into custody.
During questioning, Clover told detectives he forced his way into the homes, rummaged through belongings, stole property, washed his clothes and took showers. Another burglary was also confirmed during questioning.
Clover was cited for Theft over $500, three counts of Burglary causing damage, and two counts of Criminal Damage to Property over $500. He was booked into the Williamson County Jail.
