CARMI – The sheriff’s office in White County continues to investigate several recent burglaries and thefts from throughout the county.
Sheriff Jordan Weiss says six reports involving the theft of farm equipment, recreational vehicles, and oil field equipment from privately owned property have been taken. The thefts are not isolated to a specific location. Evidence has been collected from each scene and sent to the Illinois State Police Crime Lab for forensic analysis.

The sheriff says more information will be released as it becomes available. A $500 Crime Stopper reward is being offered for the felony conviction and recovery of property from these incidents.
