CENTRALIA – A Centralia man is facing 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography after law enforcement carried out a search warrant in the 600 block of South Poplar in Centralia Monday.
According to Centralia Police, the Illinois Attorney General Police Investigations/High Tech Crimes Division along with Centralia Police and the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office arrested without incident 46-year-old Jared A. Lang. Police say the victim in this case was under 13 years old.
Online court records show pre-trial release for Lang was denied during his first appearance Tuesday in Marion County Court and a preliminary hearing was set for Nov. 18.
