WEST FRANKFORT – Two Frankfort Community High School students were hit by a vehicle as rain was coming down just after 8 p.m. Saturday on Main Street in West Frankfort.
According to West Frankfort Supt. Matt Donkin, the students were crossing to the Homecoming Dance at Max Morris Gym when they were hit.
Donkin says both students were taken to an area hospital to be checked out and were able to go home.
Donkin thanks the West Frankfort Fire and Police Departments for their help.
