MACEDONIA- A Macedonia man faces multiple child pornography charges following a child pornography investigation in Hamilton County.
According to Hamilton County Sheriff Tracy Lakin, a search warrant was carried out at 42-year-old Shawn Schweitzer home on Illinois 14 last Tuesday and child porn was found. Schweitzer was arrested and booked into the White County Jail.
Online court records show Schweitzer will appear in court for a preliminary hearing Dec. 3
The Illinois Attorney General’s Office, Illinois State Police, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the McLeansboro Police Department participated in the execution of the search warrant.
