Herrin Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Arrests

HERRIN – Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two people on drug charges following a traffic stop in Herrin early Tuesday morning.

According to the sheriff’s office, the driver, Tiffany D. Just, and her passenger, Brandon M. Pickles, were cited for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Just was also cited for Suspended Registration for Mandatory Insurance. They were both booked into the Williamson County Jail.

Deputies saw Just going east near the intersection of 14th and Van Buren streets and noticed her vehicle did not have valid registration. She was pulled over.

A sheriff’s K9 unit arrived, conducted a free air sniff and provided a positive alert to the odor of illegal narcotics. A lawful search found a glass smoking device between the front seats which field tested positive for meth. A bag of meth was also found between the seats.
