LOUISVILLE, IL – Conservative farmer, businessman, and former State Senator Darren Bailey will officially launch his campaign for Governor of Illinois Thursday with a series of events across the state.
Joining him will be his running mate, Aaron Del Mar. Bailey and Del Mar will make stops in Carterville, Bloomington, and Oak Brook, giving supporters across the state a chance to hear directly from the ticket and join the movement to take back Illinois.

“Illinois cannot afford another four years under JB Pritzker’s failed leadership,” Bailey said ahead of the announcement. “This campaign is about restoring hope, protecting families, and making Illinois a place where our kids and grandkids can thrive.”
Aaron Del Mar, Bailey’s running mate, added: “Darren and I believe in the strength of Illinois’ people. Our logo highlights the skyline of Chicago and the farmland of rural Illinois. We understand north and south are separated geographically but we are still one state that must be unified. Together, we’re ready to lead a grassroots movement that will change the direction of the Land of Lincoln.”
