CARBONDALE – A Colp man was recently arrested on gun and drug charges after being stopped for expired registration in the 500 block of East College Street in Carbondale.
According to Carbondale Police, on Sept. 17, the driver, 57-year-old Galen E. Mack, was found with a gun and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, Possession of a Weapon by a Street Gang Member, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail pending a detention hearing. Police continue to investigate.
