MT. VERNON – The City of Mt. Vernon says starting today, several roads are scheduled to be paved over the next couple of weeks.
They are North Water Tower Road from 42nd Street to Cul-de-sac, 22nd Street from Broadway to Logan Street, Plum Avenue from Veterans Memorial Drive to Lime Avenue, Blackberry Avenue from 34th Street to Apple Avenue, Lincolnshire Drive from 42nd Street to the end, Jordan Street from 10th Street to 4th Street, the entire length of Southeast Crescent Drive and 33rd Street from Broadway to Southwest Crescent Drive.
Notices will be given out at least one day in advance or sooner depending on progress. You should park on side streets when possible so crews can complete work safely and efficiently.
