MT. VERNON – The City of Mt. Vernon says Thursday’s closure of Ambassador Road for asphalt installation has been delayed and the road will remain open this week.
The delay was due to an issue with the contractor’s asphalt plant.
The city will announce a new closure date as soon as possible.
