WALTONVILLE – Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Wednesday morning for Possession of Methamphetamine, two counts of Violation of an Order of Protection and Possession of Drug Equipment in Waltonville.

According to the sheriff’s office, the arrest of 26-year-old Jeremiah L. Phillips happened after sheriff’s detectives investigating a Violation of Order of Protection case went to 6 Circle Drive to serve a search warrant. Detectives saw evidence of illegal drug activity when they served the warrant. They collected evidence at the scene for further investigation.
Phillips was booked into the Jefferson County Jail.
