CARBONDALE – A Cobden man, wanted on an active South Carolina warrant for Criminal Sexual Conduct, is facing drug and gun charges following a traffic stop Tuesday night in the 400 block of East Walnut Street in Carbondale.
According to Carbondale Police, 24-year-old Braden A. Dunbar was arrested on the warrant. He was also found to be in possession of a firearm and an illegal amount of cannabis.
Officers charged Dunbar with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, and Possession of Adult Use of Cannabis. Dunbar was lodged in the Jackson County Jail pending a detention hearing.
