CARTERVILLE – Carterville Police remind you to drive the posted speed limit and stay alert while driving through Carterville, particularly on Grand Avenue and other main roadways, due to the increase in deer activity in and around town.
Police have noticed more deer crossing roadways recently. So stay aware, reduce distractions and be prepared for sudden crossings especially during the early morning and evening hours.
