DU QUOIN – The Du Quoin State Fair gets underway today and runs through Labor Day weekend.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. with the Twilight Parade starting at 6 p.m. at the grandstand.
Dr. Glenn Poshard will be the Grand Marshal for this year’s parade.
Admission to the fair is free and parking is free today.
