Harrisburg Man Arrested after Failing to Return from Furlough, Removing Ankle Monitor

CARRIER MILLS – A Harrisburg man was arrested Tuesday after Carrier Mills Police learned he had removed an ankle monitor and failed to return from a court approved furlough.

Twenty-two-year-old Mick J. Chamness was located at a home on Railroad Street and taken into custody. He was booked into the Saline County Jail on two additional felony charges.

Online court records show Chamness is charged with Failure to Return from Furlough and Criminal Damage to Government Property under $500. His initial court appearance is set for Monday in Saline County Court.
